Check In/Out Times
Check In: After 3:00 pm*
Check Out: By 11:00 am.
For earlier check ins or later check outs please make pre-arrangements. We will always do our best to accommodate your needs. *Due to our distance from major airports and travel related delays we welcome check ins at any hour. We kindly request that you contact us if you will be arriving past 10:00p.
Reservations
Always suggested and accepted up to one year in advance**. A non refundable , non transferable deposit of 15% is required at the time your reservation is made. In the event of a cancelation we will honor your 15% deposit towards a future stay within 6 months of your initial reservation date. **Due to very high demand Bucknell Family and Graduation Weekends require special handling. Please read the policy points below for Bucknell Family Weekend and Bucknell Graduation Weekend.
Pets
For the comfort of all of our guests we cannot allow pets.
Electric Vehicles
The Tawsty Flower has one level 2, 40amp, J1772 EV Charging Station available in our parking area. It is available to overnight guests only. Rate is $2 per hour, $12 max. Please reserve the charger when you make your reservation.
Service Animals for People with Disabilities
The Tawsty Flower is committed to providing service to customers with disabilities who are accompanied with service animals, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service animals play an important role in ensuring the independence of people with disabilities. The Tawsty Flower welcomes customers with disabilities who use service animals.
Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and are not permitted in any of our rooms, suites, or cottages.
Payment
Is expected in full at time of arrival. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Cash and personal check with ID also accepted.
Deposits & Cancellations
A non refundable , non transferable deposit of 15% is required at the time your reservation is made. In the event of a cancelation we will honor your 15% deposit towards a future stay within 6 months of your initial reservation date. Cancellations must be made by 3:00PM and a full 48 hours prior to your arrival date to avoid additional cancellation charges . We will do our best to fill the opening from any cancellation made in less than 48 hours. If we are unable to re-book your late cancellation your credit card will be charged 50% of the cost of the nights reserved. No shows and cancellations made after 3:00PM the day of your reservation will be charged in full. Minimum Stay
Certain peak weekends and events require two night minimum stay. Single night stays are welcome at all other times in our inn. Stays in the Haines Suites and our Cottage always require a 2 night minimum stay.
Extra Guest/Cot
$20.00 per night in rooms #1 & #4 only. We cannot allow or fit cots in any other rooms, suites, or cottages.
Children
10 years and older please in the inn. Certain exceptions apply in our cottage and suites. Please call for details.
Smoking
We are a Smoke Free establishment. Smoking Is not permitted inside any buildings or on the property.
Bucknell Family/Parents Weekend
We receive hundreds of reservation requests for Bucknell’s Parent’s Weekend throughout the year. With only 4 total accommodations to offer we cannot come even close to filling that demand. We will now offer Parent’s Weekend reservations to our most frequent guests who stay with us during the school year prior to the Fall semester of Parent’s Weekend. We will settle Parent’s Weekend reservations in May of the Spring semester prior to the upcoming Fall semester. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
Bucknell Graduation Weekend
For Bucknell Graduation Weekend we are once again faced with hundreds of reservation requests for the small supply of only 10 accommodations we have to offer. For Bucknell Graduation Weekend we offer right of first refusal to our most frequent past guests. Due to our limited supply of accommodations and our high number of previous guests we cannot and will not guarantee a reservation to all past guests. We limit these reservations to one room per family. We allocate graduation reservations in January of the graduation year.
